POST-REM SESTRIERE


Sestriere is a world-famous ski resort located at 2035 m above sea level and about 100 km from Turin, on the road to one of the mountain passes that connect Italy and France (Montgenèvre).

Alpine skiing theater during the 2006 Turin Olympics, witnessed the Austrian domination which won 4 gold medals with Michaela Dorfmeister and Benjamin Reich.

If the pre-REM was the wedding venue of the actual FIAT president, Sestriere instead owes its origin to Giovanni Agnelli who founded FIAT and who, fascinated by the mountains, decided to transform Sestriere into a renowned ski resort.
